Built around the same proven geometry that made the Switch9er a modern Stanton classic, Gen V evolves the platform with updated standards and detail improvements while keeping the ride feel exactly where it should be.

THE HARDTAIL THAT BLURS THE LINE

The Switch9er Ti is our ultimate big-wheel hardtail. Fast, planted, and impossibly capable, yet still alive beneath you in a way only a hardtail can be. It carries speed with the confidence you’d expect from a 29er, but keeps the responsiveness and connection that make every trail feel engaging.

The geometry is progressive without chasing trends for the sake of it. Long enough to stay composed when speeds climb, balanced enough to stay intuitive when the trail gets tight. Short chainstays keep the rear end responsive and easy to move around underneath you, while the carefully considered BB height strikes that sweet spot between stability and agility.

Built from custom-drawn, triple-butted 3AL-2.5V titanium tubing, the Switch9er Ti Gen V delivers the unmistakable ride quality titanium is known for—lightweight, responsive, and incredibly smooth over rough ground. Tube profiles and wall thicknesses are carefully selected to create stiffness where power transfer matters and compliance where the trail demands it.

The result is a frame that feels precise without ever feeling harsh. Calm when things get rough. Fast everywhere else.

And, of course, titanium isn’t just about performance. The raw finish will continue looking better with age, carrying the marks of years on the trail without losing its character. Whether you keep it brushed and understated or opt for one of our bespoke finishes, it’s a frame built to last in every sense.

The geometry is designed around a 140 mm fork, though the frame is approved up to 160 mm for riders wanting a more aggressive setup. As always, strength and durability are engineered in from the beginning—we’d rather push limits on the trail than in the workshop.

Despite its descending capability, the Switch9er Ti still climbs with the kind of efficiency that catches people off guard. Lightweight, direct, and technical in the best way possible, it rewards riders who want to search for lines rather than avoid them.

By adopting the UDH standard, we’ve made derailleur alignment more precise, crash recovery easier, and replacement hangers universal — no more searching for proprietary parts. The UDH system also ensures perfect integration with SRAM’s latest direct-mount, hangerless drivetrains, so your Switch9er is fully Transmission-ready straight out the gate.
