The Switchback Ti Mk2 Is Now Available For Pre Order!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

PLEASE NOTE: The frame in the image is a prototype. While the finish looks cool, this finish cannot be cleaned easily back to new by the owner, and so we’ve decided to produce the production run inverted from the image shown, with sand blasted graphics and scotch-bright finish.
The production frame also has a different style of Stealth Dropper routing lugs. The ones in the image are Cast Titanium with no ability to sound proof the cabling. The production frame uses CNC’d inserts that allow you to remove a cap and add sound proofing to stop tinging in the down tube if you experience this.

[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Well it’s taken us nearly a year and a half to get these amendments into production and now the Mk2 Switchback Ti is finally here!

There’s been some hefty improvements over our current Mk1 Switchback Ti and I feel we’ve achieved them without sacrificing the awesome playfulness this frame has become notorious for.

Read on to find out more about what changes have been made to improve upon the original.

As the Yoke ads a little stiffness we were able to get the balance back by placing a kink into the chain stays.

Not only does this put the ‘twang’ back into the frame but it also offers greater Q-factor and heal clearances. The rear gear cable and brake cable runs into and out of the top tube, sleekly pass the seat tube then back into the top of the seat stay and back out at the business end.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We also use flush Alloy caps so you can remove them and add sound insulation if you’re experiencing any tinging. [/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”Internal Dropper Stealth Routing”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]This was a big ask from our customers, the ability to run Stealth droppers! Wanting to keep that Sleek look we decided to route the cable out the back of the seat tube, through the yoke, onto a clip on the BB and then into the underside of the down tube, then back out at the top of the down tube.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1334″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/2″][vc_single_image image=”1333″ img_size=”medium” alignment=”center”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Coupled with the internal routing on the top tube the frame looks unbelievably clean and fuss free![/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_text_separator title=”Bigger Frame Options”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]We decided not to go ‘BIG’ but instead go ‘LONG’. The Longer versions of the new Switchback Ti are 24mm longer in the actual top tube measurement, giving you the ability to run even shorter stems. And if you’re a taller rider you’re now able to ride a switchback with a 50mm.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_separator][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Preorders are available now! The frames arrive at the end of March, and there’s only 15 of each size in Long currently being manufactured at the moment[/vc_column_text][vc_btn title=”CLICK HERE TO PRE ORDER NOW” shape=”square” color=”danger” align=”center” link=”url:https%3A%2F%2Fwww.stantonbikes.com%2F%3Fp%3D1325%26utm_source%3DStanton%2520Bikes%2520Website%26utm_medium%3DBlog%26utm_campaign%3DSwitchback%2520Ti%2520PreOrder||”][/vc_column][/vc_row]
